Plenty of material in the raised heel area. These are high quality machined aluminum horseshoes, cut from extruded aluminum tubing, making the profiles very smooth,and uniform. Metal composition also remains very uniform for strength and shaping. Metal Toe insert to prevent excessive wear found on other aluminum horseshoes. Very nice Egg Bar shape rounded throughout the profile with ample sole relief and excellent nail hole.
